On this site you will find more about the band and we hope you will be inspired to come along to one of our forthcoming events or even become a member!
Thank you again for your visit and we look forward to meeting you.
Mold Town Concert Band would like to welcome you to our website and thank you for taking an interest in us. We are based in the busy market-
The band are extremely proud to lead the annual Remembrance Day parade in Mold town centre and we are, of course, always in attendance for this important yearly event. The parade is often covered by The Leader newspaper and a short video from their YouTube channel can be found by clicking on the poppy. Information about the band’s future performances can be found on the website’s Events Page when they are confirmed.

The Band has been delighted to be up, running and blowing, following some 18 months of enforced dormancy during the Covid epidemic. 2022 exceeded our expectations at the beginning of the year; prior to the summer break the programme of events rounded off with a most successful
Commemorative Concert for a founder member of the band, Eddie Naisby. Thanks to the generosity of all – including the Naisby family, the National Youth Orchestra of Wales and British Red Cross have benefited from a sum well in excess of £900!
There are often vacancies in most instruments -
Currently, there are vacancies for competent clarinettists, an additional first trumpet and experienced percussionist(s)! -
DIRECTOR OF MUSIC
Following some 23 years as Director of Music, Geoff Coward has decided that the time has come to ‘hand over the baton!’
Consequently the band is now under the capable direction of our new MD, Alan Milnes and we are looking forward to a bright future with Alan at the helm.
