Mold Town Concert Band was formed in 1999  and currently comprises 45 + regular and part timemembers.

As a community  activity, 'open to all' wind and brass players of any age, this ensemble has evolved into a concert wind band which currently ranges from school students through to retired members.

Remembrance Day Parade 2006.

The band is a registered charity and receives support from the Mold Town Council in return for 'official duties' such as at the Remembrance Day Parade in November, the Mayor's Charity Concert and at the switching on of Christmas illuminations in Mold.  Band members contribute financially to the running of the band and fund raising performances are given during the year.  The band regularly raises money for other charitable causes.

The band is also grateful for support from the Welsh Amateur Music Federation.

The Mayor of Mold, Councillor Joyce Jones, presents the Band with the Mayor's Cup for 2007 - in recognition of the Band's service to the community.
