The band is a registered charity and receives support from the Mold Town Council
in return for 'official duties' such as at the Remembrance Sunday Parade, the
switching on of Christmas illuminations and the Carnival. In addition the band regularly
performs a variety of concerts both open-air and indoors, in the Chester and North
Wales area, such as church fairs, street collections for charity and at local bandstands,
having over the course of the year approximately 10 engagements. The band is also
grateful for support it receives from Ty Cerdd (formally the Welsh Amateur Music
Federation).

Members pay a small monthly subscription - currently £5.00 from which students and
children are exempt. Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings in Mold Town Hall,
Earl Road between 7.15 pm and 9.15 pm (except during August and on Bank Holidays).
Rehearsals are always enjoyable under the expert guidance of our musical director
Geoff Coward so if you are considering joining a band for the first time, you could not
make a better choice than Mold Town Concert Band.

Want to join? - see our contacts page or come along to a rehearsal and have a go.
